And moving in shouldn’t be considered until a year or so. Don’t wait too long though. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. And a girl who is interested in you and thinks that you don’t want to have sex with her will be furious indeed. It may also lead her to assume you don’t have the guts.

Obviously it’s not always easy to be hilarious, but showing that you don’t take yourself too seriously and making the conversation light hearted will stand in your favor. Definitely make some jokes as well, you never know – she might have exactly the same sense of humor as you. Flirting is certainly an art form and is very important when considering how to get a girlfriend. Flirting differentiates between friendship and love interest; it is playfully showing someone you’re romantically interested in them. But if there’s something there, you owe it to the both of you to explore the possibility of an extraordinary relationship. Opportunity doesn’t knock too often. When opportunity knocks, answer the damn door! If a friend tells you not to let this guy or girl in, you need to tell that friend to mind his or her own business.

Don’t be like that. It comes from a place of insecurity and girls don’t find that attractive. Once you feel like you’ve chatted enough, ask them out for a coffee. The more dates you have, the better you’ll get at holding conversations with the opposite sex.

As we’ve said, women like confidence and assertiveness so make sure you ask her out properly! Don’t come up with a vague proposal of a plan or give her too many options to choose from so nothing gets established. Simply come up with a good date idea; one where you can speak and get to know each other properly (like a drink or a coffee) and give her a time and a place. Present her with a concrete plan she can’t refuse.

But after doing that for a while, I realized it’s not what I really wanted. It was more about building up my ego and self-esteem by getting lots of validation from women. And that’s ok — that’s part of the process and it might be something you need to do just like I did.

However, if you wait too long she might forget who you are or have found another guy she’s interested in. Ask her out to a similar venue.

10) Don’t try to lock down another date

She’s done this all for you don’t forget to show your appreciation with an honest compliment. Stop trying to get a girlfriend. The first step to getting a girlfriend is to stop trying. Instead go into every new interaction you have with women expecting nothing in return.

Suggest fun dates, discuss exclusivity and eventually ask her to be your girlfriend. It is important though, not to blast her with texts and maintain an air of mystery.
